SpeakEasy Collection

Aventurine. Craft. Equinox.

In seventeenth-century Venice, a Murano glassmaker let iron filings fall into molten glass, alla ventura, and a constellation was born. Four centuries later, Speake Marin captures that happy accident at the heart of the Resilience Midnight. Its mirror-polished aventurine dial holds a fragment of the night sky, each disc a unique microcosm of stars, deep blue and quietly luminous.

Look closer. Each dial begins as a block of aventurine glass, selected for its colour, translucency and natural shimmer, then cut into fine discs with diamond saws and polished in three successive stages to reach flawless brilliance and exact thickness. Elongated Roman numerals in brilliant white bring a touch of classicism, while the heart-shaped hour hand and double-leaf minute hand pay homage to the clock of London's Elizabeth Tower, a nod to the maison's British heritage. The chemin de fer minute track pauses at 1:30 for the small seconds counter, the signature of the house.

To wear the Resilience Midnight is to carry the interplay of chance, artisanal mastery and celestial wonder on the wrist.

Calibre SMA03

Precision in Motion. Elegance in Every Detail.

The Piccadilly collection embodies Speake Marin’s vision of contemporary horlogerie, combining refined aesthetics with technical excellence. Featuring a closed dial and housed within the iconic Piccadilly case, it is powered by the in-house SMA03 calibre.

This self-winding movement is distinguished by its micro-rotor positioned at 9 o’clock and its off-centred small seconds display at 1:30. Measuring 30.00 mm in diameter and just 3.9 mm in height (excluding hands), the SMA03 operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and delivers a 52-hour power reserve.

Comprising 147 components and 31 jewels, the calibre is engineered for precision and reliability, with an average rate of +5/-5 seconds per day. The movement features a 51° lift angle and can be fully wound in 192 turns of the winding stem.
