Terracotta. Travel. Two Horizons.

The Openworked Dual Time Terracotta by Speake-Marin captures the spirit of travel through colour, light and mechanical sophistication. Inspired by the warm terracotta tones of the legendary Roland-Garros clay courts, that particular shade of earth, sun-baked and unmistakably French, that has coloured a century of summer afternoons, this contemporary timepiece blends effortless elegance with bold architectural watchmaking.

The Piccadilly case, in polished-brushed Grade 5 titanium, frames this vivid inspiration with quiet structure. Its vibrant openworked dial, paired with a refined green leather strap, creates a striking harmony between urban chic and sporting refinement.

Look closer. The frosted, hand-finished dial plate, coated in terracotta-orange PVD, reveals rhodium-plated, micro-blasted skeletonised bridges, their mirror-polished bevels catching light like the chalked lines of a court at dusk. At 9:00, a two-tone day/night second time zone unfolds in Arabic numerals, glowing orange against matte grey Super-LumiNova for those whose days stretch across more than one horizon. At 1:30, the small seconds and retrograde date settle into the composition with the Maison's signature precision.

Rooted in colour, free in spirit. An inspiration from elsewhere, carried by the call of travel.

The Dual Time Terracotta. Time, in motion.

Calibre SMA02

Two Time Zones. One Vision.

The in-house SMA02 calibre expands Speake Marin’s openworked universe by integrating two practical complications: a Dual Time indication and a retrograde date. Designed with the same architectural principles as the Maison’s other openworked movements, it preserves the distinctive visual balance between the barrel, the oscillating mass and the small seconds at 1:30, creating a harmonious triangular composition.

This self-winding calibre measures 34.00 mm in diameter and 6.65 mm in height. Operating at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), it delivers a 52-hour power reserve and comprises 273 components and 36 jewels, reflecting Speake Marin’s commitment to technical innovation and contemporary haute horlogerie.
