Rhinoceros

A Limited Edition Dedicated to Conservation

THE ART SERIES - Rhinoceros

in support of save the rhinoceros international

OUR COMMITMENT

The Art Series Watch with a Mission

Speake Marin believes that fine watchmaking can be a force for good. Since 2020, the Maison has dedicated its Art Series to an annual limited edition honouring an endangered species, with part of the proceeds directly supporting the organisations working to protect it.

For this first chapter, Speake Marin turns its attention to one of nature's most vulnerable giants: the rhinoceros.

A Cause Speake Marin Proudly Stands Behind

A PARTNERSHIP WITH PURPOSE

Every Watch Sold, A Gift to Conservation

This 9-piece limited edition has been created in partnership with Save the Rhino International, a London-based charity dedicated to ensuring that all five species of rhinoceros survive and thrive in the wild. Through habitat protection, anti-poaching initiatives, community engagement and global expert collaboration, Save the Rhino International works on the front lines of one of the world's most urgent conservation battles.

For every Rhinoceros timepiece sold, Speake Marin donates a meaningful share of the proceeds to Save the Rhino International, a direct contribution to protecting critically endangered rhinos at the Sumatra Rhino Sanctuary in Indonesia.

This is not a symbolic gesture: it is a tangible, committed act of philanthropy woven into the very identity of the watch.

Every wrist that wears this rhinoceros becomes part of its story of survival.

A SCULPTURE ON THE WRIST

40 Hours of Hand-Sculpted Craftsmanship

Designed entirely in-house, the rhinoceros dial is the result of more than 40 hours of hand-sculpting to create a master stamp, later reproduced with extraordinary precision on each dial. The silver-plated relief is hand-finished with an oxidising acid, and some fifteen layers of black lacquer complete the dial, achieving a glossy depth against which the rhinoceros seems to emerge.

In keeping with the spirit of the project, the watch is paired with a dedicated eco-friendly strap in 100% FSC-certified lime tree wood, lined with natural cork. Only 9 pieces exist, each carrying a story of craftsmanship and a commitment to conservation that extends far beyond the wrist.
