The Calibre SMA06 is an ultra-thin automatic manufacture movement developed in-house at Le Cercle des Horlogers in La Chaux-de-Fonds, embodying Speake Marin’s pursuit of technical excellence. With an exceptional thickness of just 2.5 mm, it ranks among the slimmest automatic calibres in contemporary watchmaking. Its high-frequency regulating organ oscillates at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), delivering enhanced chronometric stability, improved precision and a smooth seconds motion.

The architecture integrates a refined automatic winding system with an in-house additional wheel that optimises reverser engagement and energy transmission to the barrel. The integrated tungsten micro-rotor, decorated with alternating rhodium-plated and blue PVD rectangles, reinforces both efficiency and visual identity.

Comprising 175 components and 27 jewels, the SMA06 features a 32 mm diameter, variable inertia balance wheel, Swiss lever escapement, and refined haute horlogerie finishing. Delivering a 52-hour power reserve, it combines ultra-thin construction, performance and technical sophistication in a modern manufacture calibre.
