Magister Diamond Tourbillon

Price upon request

Gold. Tourbillon. Mastery.

The Magister Tourbillon, in 5N red gold and diamonds, brings together everything that is quintessentially Speake-Marin: an eye-catching tourbillon, sculpted heat-blued hands, the iconic Piccadilly case, fluted crown, and a finely finished movement, here featuring a platinum micro-rotor.

Look closer. The hand-finished tourbillon at 6 o'clock reveals a highly polished bridge crafted from Durnico maraging steel, chosen for its superior strength. The Speake-Marin topping tool wheel motif resurfaces in the design of the tourbillon cage itself, a quiet signature woven into the most technical element of the watch. While the tourbillon is renowned for its capacity to improve timekeeping accuracy, it is above all the visual beauty of this mesmerising escapement that captivates: its one-minute rotation brings the dial to life with a subtle sense of animation.

The sculpted blued-steel hands are set off superbly by the pristine white lacquer, multi-level dial, contrasting neatly with the warm hue of the regal red gold case. The dial is framed beautifully by the polished red gold bezel, just as the tourbillon is framed by the polished stainless steel guard around the escapement. Through the display back, the hand-finished calibre reveals itself in full: atop the offset mainspring barrel sits the noble platinum micro-rotor, its sober aesthetic counterbalanced by the intricate complexity of the tourbillon.

The Magister Tourbillon. Gold and diamonds, perfected.

Calibre SMA-HH03

192 Components. One Conviction.

Tradition. Precision. Motion.

The SMA-HH03 is Speake Marin’s tourbillon at 6 o’clock in its most refined expression: a self-winding architecture composed of 192 hand-finished components, conceived to carry the Maison’s most demanding complication with quiet authority.

Look closer. At just 5.40mm thick for a 30.00mm casing diameter, the calibre achieves a rare equilibrium between technical density and elegant restraint. Its 25 jewels and Swiss lever escapement deliver a 72-hour power reserve at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), regulated to an average rate of 4 ± 4 seconds per day, precision earned through patient adjustment, not left to chance. Wound by 33 turns of the crown, the movement sustains a minimum amplitude of 200° even after a full eight hours of rest, a quiet testament to its mechanical integrity.

At its heart, the tourbillon completes its rotation once per minute, animating the dial with the mesmerising rhythm that has defined the complication since its invention, a mechanism built as much to be watched as to perform.

This is independent watchmaking distilled into its essential architecture. Precise. Patient. The rare expression of a Maison that builds complexity to be felt, not merely seen.
