Calibre SMA05
The Flying Tourbillon, Reimagined at 1:30
The Calibre SMA05 is a proprietary manufacture movement that exemplifies Speake Marin’s technical creativity and contemporary approach to haute horlogerie. Its defining feature is the flying tourbillon positioned between 1 and 2 o’clock, a signature configuration unique to the Maison and a remarkable feat of movement engineering.Designed with an openworked architecture, the calibre balances its flying tourbillon with a 72-hour power reserve indicator between 7 and 8 o’clock, creating both visual harmony and mechanical depth. The geometric bridges reveal the movement’s intricate construction while reinforcing its distinctive aesthetic.Composed of 290 components and 33 jewels, the self-winding SMA05-2 measures 34 mm in diameter and 7.15 mm in height. Beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), it delivers an average precision of ±4 seconds per day.Finished with Côtes de Genève, circular graining, bead-blasting and hand-chamfering.
