The Calibre SMA07 is Speake Marin’s first manufacture ultra-thin automatic skeleton movement. Developed and produced in-house, this sophisticated calibre stands out for its exceptional slenderness. Measuring just 3.25 mm in height for a diameter of 35.75 mm, it combines refined proportions with remarkable mechanical complexity. Its openworked construction, composed of 182 meticulously engineered components and 27 jewels, showcases the movement’s intricate architecture while preserving optimal rigidity and reliability.
At its heart beats a high-frequency regulating organ oscillating at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz). This elevated frequency enhances rate stability and chronometric performance, delivering a precision of ±5 seconds per day. Despite its ultra-thin profile, the SMA07 offers a generous 52-hour power reserve through its automatic winding system, reflecting the calibre’s efficient energy management.

The Speake Marin SMA06 calibre is an in-house automatic mechanical movement developed for the Ripples Kármán Line, where high-frequency precision meets ultra-thinness and refined Swiss finishing.
Engineered for both performance and elegance, the SMA06 features a fully integrated micro-rotor, ensuring optimal winding efficiency while preserving a remarkably slim profile of just 2.5 mm in thickness (without hands) within a 32.00 mm diameter. Beating at a high frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), the movement delivers exceptional chronometric stability and precision, positioning it among the most advanced calibres in contemporary Swiss watchmaking. Comprising 175 components and 27 jewels, the SMA06 incorporates a variable inertia balance wheel and a Swiss lever escapement, enhancing reliability, durability, and long-term performance. It offers a minimum power reserve of 52 hours, ensuring consistent energy delivery and accuracy.
The calibre is distinguished by its meticulous finishing: a rhodium-plated, microbeaded mainplate, paired with bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève, enhanced by hand-executed anglage and polished bevels. At its core, the tungsten micro-rotor reveals an exclusive geometric motif, combining rhodium-plated and blue PVD finishes, bringing depth, contrast, and a contemporary signature to the movement.

A Signature Tourbillon, Defying Convention
The Calibre SMA05 is a proprietary manufacture movement that exemplifies Speake Marin’s technical creativity and contemporary approach to haute horlogerie. Its defining feature is the flying tourbillon positioned between 1 and 2 o’clock, a signature configuration unique to the Maison and a remarkable feat of movement engineering.
Designed with an openworked architecture, the calibre balances its flying tourbillon with a 72-hour power reserve indicator between 7 and 8 o’clock, creating both visual harmony and mechanical depth. The geometric bridges reveal the movement’s intricate construction while reinforcing its distinctive aesthetic.
Composed of 290 components and 33 jewels, the self-winding SMA05-2 measures 34 mm in diameter and 7.15 mm in height. Beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), it delivers an average precision of ±4 seconds per day.
Finished with Côtes de Genève, circular graining, bead-blasting and hand-chamfering, the SMA05 combines technical sophistication, refined craftsmanship and Speake Marin’s unmistakable watchmaking identity.

The Academic collection embodies Speake Marin’s vision of contemporary haute horlogerie, combining refined aesthetics with technical excellence. Featuring a closed dial and housed within the iconic Piccadilly case, it is powered by the in-house SMA03 calibre.
This self-winding movement is distinguished by its micro-rotor positioned at 9 o’clock and its off-centred small seconds display at 1:30. Measuring 30.00 mm in diameter and just 3.9 mm in height (excluding hands), the SMA03 operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and delivers a 52-hour power reserve.
Comprising 147 components and 31 jewels, the calibre is engineered for precision and reliability, with an average rate of +5/-5 seconds per day. The movement features a 51° lift angle and can be fully wound in 192 turns of the winding stem.

The Calibre SMA03-T expresses a contemporary interpretation of traditional haute horlogerie, highlighted by the signature small seconds at 1:30. The “T” for Tradition reflects an elevated level of finishing, combining modern construction with classical decorative techniques such as rhodium treatment, hand-polished bevels and refined inner angles.
Measuring 30 mm in diameter and 3.9 mm in height, this automatic calibre is composed of 147 components and 29 jewels. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it delivers a 52-hour power reserve and an average precision of ±5 seconds per day.
Its architecture reveals a refined balance between technical performance and aesthetic execution, enhanced by traditional haute horlogerie finishes including circular graining, bevelled edges and hand-executed detailing.

The “T” for Tradition highlights the elevated finishing level applied to the movement, blending modern engineering with classical haute horlogerie decoration. The calibre is distinguished by Geneva stripes, hand-finished inner angles, hand-polished bevels and rhodium-treated surfaces, reflecting a strong commitment to artisanal excellence.

The in-house SMA02 calibre expands Speake Marin’s openworked universe by integrating two practical complications: a Dual Time indication and a retrograde date. Designed with the same architectural principles as the Maison’s other openworked movements, it preserves the distinctive visual balance between the barrel, the oscillating mass and the small seconds at 1:30, creating a harmonious triangular composition.
This self-winding calibre measures 34.00 mm in diameter and 6.65 mm in height. The in-house SMA01 calibre is a COSC-certified self-winding movement equipped with a micro-rotor and designed for optimal slimness and performance. Fully integrated within the bridges, the winding mass ensures efficiency while preserving a refined and balanced architecture.
Distinctive in its design, the movement features a small seconds display positioned at 1:30, achieved through a sophisticated module that eliminates the need for a surrounding ring. This unique layout creates a dynamic visual equilibrium between the barrel, oscillating mass and small seconds, forming a subtle triangular composition that defines Speake Marin’s openworked aesthetic language.
Operating at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), the SMA01 calibre delivers a 52-hour power reserve and is composed of 171 components and 33 jewels. Measuring 30.00 mm in diameter and 5.00 mm in height, it is entirely assembled and adjusted by hand, reflecting the Maison’s commitment to precision, balance and contemporary haute horlogerie.

The in-house SMA-HH02 calibre unites a 60-second flying tourbillon with a minute repeater carillon, embodying Speake Marin’s mastery of grand complications and refined craftsmanship.
Positioned at 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon features a hand-finished cage and is supported by a distinctive paddle-shaped bridge, revealing the depth and complexity of the movement. Circular-grained bridges, polished screw heads and countersinks highlight the exceptional level of finishing throughout.
Operating at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), the manual-winding calibre delivers a 72-hour power reserve and is composed of 536 components and 51 jewels, reflecting the Maison’s commitment to haute horlogerie excellence.


CALIBRE SMA-HH03

The SMA-HH03 is Speake Marin’s tourbillon at 6 o’clock in its most refined expression: a self-winding architecture composed of 192 hand-finished components, conceived to carry the Maison’s most demanding complication with quiet authority.
Look closer. At just 5.40mm thick for a 30.00mm casing diameter, the calibre achieves a rare equilibrium between technical density and elegant restraint. Its 25 jewels and Swiss lever escapement deliver a 72-hour power reserve at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), regulated to an average rate of 4 ± 4 seconds per day, precision earned through patient adjustment, not left to chance. Wound by 33 turns of the crown, the movement sustains a minimum amplitude of 200° even after a full eight hours of rest, a quiet testament to its mechanical integrity.
At its heart, the tourbillon completes its rotation once per minute, animating the dial with the mesmerising rhythm that has defined the complication since its invention, a mechanism built as much to be watched as to perform.

CALIBRE SMA-HH06
The Balance of Mechanical Excellence
The in-house SMA-HH06 calibre is a remarkable expression of Speake Marin’s haute horlogerie expertise. This manually wound vertical double tourbillon movement features a patented rate equalizer that synchronises the two tourbillons, compensating for variations in speed to ensure exceptional chronometric performance.
Entirely re-engineered for its openworked construction, the movement is distinguished by two suspended bridges that support the tourbillons directly from the main plate, creating a striking sense of depth and transparency. Its contemporary aesthetic is further enhanced by matt black tourbillon bridges, a floating dial with gold-coated Arabic numerals, and the Maison’s signature heart-shaped golden hands.
Measuring 38.00 mm in diameter and comprising 402 components and 56 jewels, the SMA-HH06 operates at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) and delivers an impressive 72-hour power reserve, embodying the perfect balance between technical innovation and artistic expressio
